Throughout Ash's teenage years she visited India and the connection got stronger and stronger, with the people she met, the poverty she saw and most of all the many beggars on the streets of India. She knew there must be a story behind the eyes that she had looked into.
In 2017 after attending a wedding in India, Ash found herself feeling different about the poverty and the struggle that she saw in the children begging at train stations and on the streets of Mumbai. She started to talk to these children and the hunger for not just food, but belonging, normality and education became apparent. Ash knew that she had to do something to try and help support these children.
The passion to finally take action and volunteer in India became an obsession and the journey began!

Ash is a highly-skilled, empathetic, passionate, pofessional, trained in areas such as youth justice, child sexual exploitation (CSE) victims abuse, gangs awareness, drug use, mental health, and rehabilitation. This allows her to transfer her 15 years of experience in these fields in order to help the children in India to better their future.
Ash approaches individuals with a calm and objective eye with the well-being of others at the heart of what 2RaysHope wants to achieve. She is effective at working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and is passionate about providing meaningful support and services to all.
Ash has spent the last two years visiting India, spending 2 months at a time volunteering at various organizations to help fight against child abuse, coach children, deliver group sessions and much more. Changing lives is at the heart of 2RaysHope's vision. This has made her versatile and has added to her skills in assessments, referrals, crisis management and working in new environments. Ash is extremely passionate to make a change in the world we live in and strongly believes that this starts with our children.
